Weekly Brief 20190204

In short, the Vets Gazette newsletter launched, Facebook deleted our page, and there’s a slew of things coming up this week, being the first week of the month. Read on for more details…

Newsletter Launch
Friday morning, bright an early, the first issue of the Vets Gazette was released into the wild. It went out via email to about 20 subscribers, but has also been handed out in print form at a few places. If you didn’t get your copy yet, it’s sitting right here waiting for you. If you want to make sure and get the next issue as soon as it comes out, be sure to sign up here.

Facebook page went missing
Somewhere between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, the Facebook page for NCW Veterans disappeared. All references to it vanished. Links back to it were broken. There was no proof it had ever existed. I did send a message to Facebook support, but I doubt I’ll hear back. In a test, I tried creating a new page with the same name and link address, and it worked! Which tells me the other one got totally wiped out, and I’ll probably just have to repopulate the new page. So, if you were previously following us on Facebook, please revisit facebook.com/NCWVeterans and follow us again.
