Weekly Brief 20190401

Issue 2 of the Vets Gazette is out! Not only was it delivered via email bright and early this morning, but it’s also being delivered in print throughout this week to select locations for easy pick-up. Didn’t get it in your email inbox today? Can’t make it out to grab a print one? Slide over to ncwveterans.info/gazette to catch up and sign up.

With Spring finally here, the cleaning is in full effect. Check with your city and/or county to find out about their Collection events for safe disposal of household hazardous wastes, electronics, tires, and more.

One of our Brothers lost his Brother rather unexpectedly, and now the community is coming together to help him and his family. For more details or to donate, please visit the GoFundMe page.

There’s another new memorial coming to the National Mall in Washington DC – a Native American Veterans Memorial.

Also, check out this new app designed to reduce veteran suicide, Operation Pop Smoke. Spread the word, and donate a few bucks if you can.
