Trent Mortensen is the Veterans Service Officer for Chelan County. He assists with applying for Veterans Benefits, provides resources and referrals in the community for the Veteran’s needs, and controls the county’s Veterans Relief Funds.

Trent Mortensen served in the US Army 2009 – 2013 as a Combat Engineer out of Fort Lewis, WA with a deployment to Afghanistan in 2011.

Trent was born and raised in California, and after his time in the service, he has continued to serve, first as Vet Corps Navigator while attending Wenatchee Valley College, then Vet Corps Regional Coordinator while completing his Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from Central Washington. He started working in the office alongside Tony Sandoval in 2020 and accepted the role as full-time County Veteran Service Officer in 2023.
