Find Your Way – A Stop in NCW

Rich Henning and his dog walking along foothills trails in central Washington; viewed from behind“My name is Rich Henning. I’m a retired, 100% Disabled, US Army Veteran. I am walking 500 miles for PTSD awareness. My mission is to share my success as well as your potential to manage PTSD and access helpful Veteran agencies.

“During my walk I am creating a video documentary focusing on PTSD success stories and confidence building utilizing exercise, teamwork, and resilience. More importantly, the walk will reestablish courage for rejuvenating a purposeful life for currently struggling vets.

“My connection with Connie was possible through the Facebook page for NCW Veterans. Connie was so open and receptive, but more so, shared a similar passion to help Vets.

Rish Henning with Connie Hill, Sarah Simonson, and Brad Pieratt of VFW Post 3617“She invited me to meet the members of the local VFW [Post 3617] while traveling through the Wenatchee Valley. I was immediately impressed by the meeting attendance, but even more by the energy and selfless atmosphere created by EVERYONE involved. I was inspired by current generation,

“Vietnam, and WWII Vets alike. Each shared stories with me of resilience, PTS growth, and desire to help others. This is absolutely created by involvement with all the amazing Vets within the VFW. Thank you so much for sharing your facility, yourselves, and your inspiration!”
