Operation Creation’s mission is to provide free or extremely low-cost experiences and events at local farms and art studios, intended to teach art and agriculture skills, and to connect veterans with each other and the communities they call home.
Operation Creation’s official launch was on 27 April 2019 at Quincy’s WWII Themed Community Dance (at the Quincy Community Center). This event included dinner, dancing, and entertainment by the Pin-Ups on Tour, as well as a Best Dressed contest with a 1940’s theme.
All money raised from this event supports Operation Creation as it moves forward with its mission.
Our WWII themed community dance and launch event for Operation Creation went really well. Everyone loved the Pin Ups on Tour and felt the entertainment was top notch. With around 100 attendees, many from Wenatchee, we raised just over $1,000 while gaining valuable exposure and directly connecting with our community. We made sure to honor those WWII veterans that came out, as well. If you missed it, fear not! We are already planning our next annual event.
