2024 Veterans Day Recap

As usual, there was no shortage of activities for and by Veterans around the annual holiday. As I find more articles and stories about what took place, I’ll add them below.

 

(Okanogan county) Local veterans honored in Quilts of Valor ceremonies, NCW News

The North Central Quilts of Valor group presented quilts on Nov. 8, to four area veterans at Tonasket High School. They are from left, Richard J. (Marines),1965-1969, Ronald L. (Navy), 1971-1992, Linda F. (Air Force), 1971-1973, and James M. (Navy), 1959-1965.

 


Cashmere students honor local veterans, NCW News

Erik Allred, Bob Etzkorn, Roger Perleberg, and Gary Darlington.

 


(Leavenworth) Cascade High School honors those who served, NCW News

CHS leadership students honored local veterans in attendance with pins at the start of the assembly.
