American Legion Veterans Service organization. A place of camaraderie and assistance, with a dash of community service. Membership in the American Legion is based on honorable service with the U. S. Armed Forces, at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941, either still actively serving or with an Honorable discharge.
The Twisp American Legion was established April 1920, and has recently been revived with more active members, activities, and community support. Their Hall is quietly settled next to the Methow River, a common gathering place for the local community. They meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7pm.
