American Legion Veterans Service organization. A place of camaraderie and assistance, with a dash of community service. Membership in the American Legion is based on honorable service with the U. S. Armed Forces, at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941, either still actively serving or with an Honorable discharge.
The Moses Lake American Legion is actively involved with the community, often partnering with VFW Post 24 for patriotic events. They also host a canteen where they have food and drinks available for members and guests to purchase. Check their website for updates on upcoming meal specials, such as Steak Dinners on the first Friday of the month, Wednesday Burger night, and Sunday morning Breakfast.
The monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday at 2pm.
