Housing support for homeless or at-risk-of-homelessness veterans with a DD214, with any discharge that is not dishonorable. Temporary motel stay, first 6 months rental assistance, help with utility deposits or past-due bills, emergency clothing and housing supplies, up to 6 months childcare assistance, can provide rides/bus tickets/vehicle repair costs/relocation fees.
This SSVF program is provided through Hopesource (in Kittitas county) and a grant from the Washington VA. It serves residents of Grant, Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan, Adams, and Kittitas counties by helping with obtaining documentation of veteran status, eviction prevention, finding housing, securing benefits, navigating healthcare, and more.
