Dedicating Hwy 20 to Vietnam Veterans

It seems the renaming of highways for groups of veterans is a common thing. And we’ve got another project in the works in our region (previously: naming Highway 97). I received the following information from a member of American Legion Post 84 over the weekend:

Hodges Post #84 has a project to dedicate Highway 20, from Newport to the Skagit County line, to the Veterans of the Vietnam War.

“We are asking for letters of support for this project from everyone that thinks its a good idea. Letters of Support (don’t have to be long, just specify that you DO support the name change) can be emailed to cerastoneus@gmail.com or signed and mailed to:

“Your help is needed and appreciated!”
