Sign-up for Broads with Rods is open. This is a free fishing event *just for the ladies* to be held on 13 August in Brewster hosted by Operation Catching Freedom – visit their site to sign up for your chance to go.

Arnie Marchand of American Legion Post 84 in Oroville is looking for letters of support in the dedication of Highway 20 to Vietnam Veterans. Support can be emailed or sent via post – see the link for more info.

Motorcycle Relief Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides relief to Veterans and First Responders with PTSD and other related issues by taking them on structured week-long adventure motorcycle relief rides. Their mission is “to honor and encourage Veterans and First Responders who are experiencing mental and emotional struggles by providing them with opportunities to decompress, get unstuck, connect with like-minded peers, and gain new perspectives and skills for dealing with their challenges.” Learn more and apply to ride at their site.
